In this installment, we sit down with Chloe Zara — hairstylist, founder of CZE Hair, and the woman behind some of the most coveted locks in the industry. Chloe shares the inspiration behind her clean haircare line, her wardrobe essentials, the secret to effortlessly beautiful hair, and the mantra that guides her every day.

Tell us the story behind Chloe Zara Hair. How did this beautiful brand come to life, and what inspired you to take the leap from salon to product line? 

It all started with a hair oil. As a hairstylist, it was always my go-to product in the salon, the final step that brought everything together. But I could never find one I truly loved: they either weighed the hair down or lacked that beautiful, memorable scent I wanted my clients to experience.

I set out to create something different, a unique, clean, multi-use hair oil that felt as luxurious as it smelt, while delivering real results. From there, the vision grew. I launched with four products built on a skincare-focused philosophy, treating the scalp like skin and using natural, bio-led ingredients to nourish from root to tip. That’s how Chloe Zara Hair was born — and it’s how CZE Hair continues to create effortlessly beautiful hair every day.

What are your go-to pieces for your wardrobe?

I’m all about elevated simplicity, pieces I can wear on repeat and style multiple ways. A beautifully tailored blazer, classic white or black tee, great denim, and a pair of chic but comfortable shoes are my staples. I also love statement earrings to bring an outfit to life.

Okay, dream time: If your hair oil were a person, how would you describe their personality?

She’s the effortlessly chic — warm, confident, and polished yet approachable. She lights up a room, smells incredible, and leaves you feeling better every time you’re around her.

If someone wants effortlessly beautiful hair built from scalp health upward, how would you guide them in incorporating the hair oil into their routine? What’s your favourite way to use it?

I’d tell them to think of it as the final, essential step in their routine — like applying a serum to your skin. After styling, work a few drops through mid-lengths to ends to smooth frizz, add shine, and lock in hydration. My favourite way to use it is as a leave-in treatment, applying to damp hair before air-drying or blow-drying, then topping up throughout the day with the mini size for touch-ups and fragrance.

Is there a daily mantra or quote you love to live by — something that grounds or inspires you in your work and life?

"Create with intention, lead with passion." I believe when you pour purpose into what you create, people can feel it.
